Choosing the right type and style of display board for your trade show booth is an important aspect of being there. Presentation is everything when you’re in a trade show and there is so much visual and auditory stimulation that you have to stand out to get attention. One of the best ways to do this is with pop up displays for trade shows . There are many benefits that come along with this type of advertising and the first one you will notice while you are getting to the event and setting up your display: they are extremely easy to transport and set up. Simply unfold and set them out and you are ready to go.

Ease of use is just the first benefit of these displays. They are excellent for presenting life size representations of people and the quality of graphics with great clarity of images alone will attract an enormous amount of attention and interest. There are other sizes of pop up displays available and you can create a great presentation from using an assortment of them together. It’s extremely easy to get creative and build an amazing display booth when you’re working with pop ups. And the great thing is their portability. You can use them almost anywhere. They can be positioned at the front of your building and moved around as needed. Wherever and however they are used, pop up displays are a great way to impress customers and draw attention to your product or service.

In today’s world, social media is king. In this day and age you don’t need to be looking for celebrities to endorse your product, just the celebrities of small social groups. Commercials are less necessary than humanizing the corporation and making it feel like it is something that can be handled, seen and felt by everyone. There is no better way to do this than to use social media sites as a means to reach out to your consumer and show them what you are about, who you are and give them a link into the corporate life, even if that is only through being able to get on Facebook, Youtube or something else and see your product in front of them all the time.

What you need to remember is that more and more people are getting their news from social media sites. This doesn’t mean that they are just getting information about their friends or their co-workers, but they also take in product information based on what their friends enjoy, and news articles based on things their friends have shared with the rest of the world. There are even news sites that are using social media, and many people have used fan pages, or have subscribed to them on Twitter to as a means of data collection and as a news RSS. This means that the best way to get information about your company out to your consumers is not to just add contact info on sites like Twitter but make regular updates. This keeps people informed and makes sure they keep paying attention. Make sure you announce all of your sales, your promotions, and even daily business on your social media sites and make it interesting. The more people who connect to you, the more their friends will see information about you, so make sure you connect to your personal profile to your company profile and retweet and share as many of the updates as you can. This will give you a broader range of people you can reach, and it doesn’t take a lot of time.

In an attempt to build team spirit and change the corporate atmosphere from cold and stale to warm and friendly, ice breaker games have become a big hit. Managers are trying to find ways to tap into to an employee’s peak potential and capitalize on being able to work together and share ideas. When employees are able to work together and feel comfortable around each other, the outcome is higher quality of work. Even if the education level and potential of the individual employees of another company is higher, that company will be less efficient. For this reason, company morale and employee camaraderie is essential.

Dinners on the company card may not test comfort zones, but certainly bring the team together. Try Indian cuisine for your next Corporate Dinner . If testing boundries and trying something new is a priority, switch it up and try a restaurant that offers a truly authentic experience. In authentic Indian custom, meals are eaten with your hands.

In Singapore, JP Morgan Chase, has an annual corporate challenge . This challenge is a 5.6 kilometer race. All entrants must belong to a corporate team. The proceeds for this year’s challenge will go to “Teaming up for a Greener Tomorrow”. This is another example of companies getting their employee’s together to unite under a similar cause. It is a chance to become comrades outside of the office doors and connect on a deeper level.

Forest Adventure is comfort zone stretching at its best! This place is awesome for building trust among team members. Test your limits by swinging through the trees high above the forest. As emotions are high and vulnerability is exposed, trust is inevitable. It is important in cases like this that no one is pushed to far. Healthy boundaries can be tested, but breaking down with force will yield opposite results.

Team building can be an especially fun time. Many companies can use their team building activities to lure new prospective employees.

Things were tough at my job, so it’s not like I just up and decided to quit, but sometimes you have to walk through the open door and into what ever the next portion of your life is. In this case I had barely stepped off the plane from Salt Lake City, lawyers from one of the hottest law offices in LA joined me just as I walked out of the secure area and started talking. It felt like a million miles a minute, but it turns out that someone who knew me and knew them had told them about me and they were curious if I wanted a job. This was somehow no joke, so I told them I would have my assistant call his assistant, but I had an appointment to be at right away.

I spent the whole day thinking about it after letting Jennifer know that I needed her to set up the interview. It seemed like a long shot, moving from Salt Lake City to Los Angeles, but I knew it would be really good for me if I picked up the nerve to do it. It might even be the thing that changes my life. As it turns out, the interview was a success. He really liked me, I really liked him, and I liked the rest of the staff I had a chance to meet. It wasn’t just easy though, it was really easy. I told him part of my fear in moving to Los Angeles would be that I wouldn’t be able to find a place to live in the area, and I don’t really like to deal with traffic too much. He said he knew someone, and we figured out a time I would be able to see a little apartment down the road from the law offices .

I went back to meeting with my client again and anticipated seeing this apartment. If there was a place for me to live when I got to Los Angeles it would make me feel a lot better about making this change. It turns out when I was done and met the agent, it wasn’t such a little apartment. Actually it was a three bedroom two bathroom apartment and was so cheap that I felt like I couldn’t pass it up. I called back the law office and my boss and broke to everyone the news. That’s how I got to this place where I am about to move to Los Angeles.

Office Space is my favorite flick of all time. Everyone has had bad job before. I had more than my share until I stumbled across my latest one. I literally did stumbled too. Popping out of a cab, I tripped over the New York Times, which was open to its classifieds. My Jimmy Choo shoes speared the listing that I applied for later that day, unhappy as I was at the job I was at then.

My job now is nothing like Office Space, fortunately. Though My boss does drag out his “yeahs,” his business skills have obviously been honed by years of great sales management training, he knows how to deal with people because he knows how to deal with customers. With him, I no longer feel the need to take sick days for more important things, like sleep. In my old job, despite working numerous hours of overtime, I never received the same kind of pay that others in the office did because of politicking.

Our performance reviews are great because we get evaluated by our peers and by our bosses too. It also isn’t that uncomfortable, three on one meeting I had at my old job. It reminds me more of the creative writing courses I took in college where we work shopped stories, except at my office, we work shop performances and ways of improving them. It is a very professional environment, but there is also a strong sense of support among everyone in office, probably because we are on the smaller side of things. We do have training seminar, a process that has helped strengthen the company. Though I always enjoyed my field, the jobs I had did not always suit me for one reason or another. But with the vibe of the place and the consistent opportunities for growth, I think I have found my favorite office space.
