Capital District and State Museum in Honolulu
In addition to being known for its significance to the state of Hawaii and of course the amazing beaches and its beautiful island culture, Honolulu is actually an incredible city. And while tourists will most likely continue to be attracted to it for some of the standard recreational and romantic associations, they are also amazed to discover while they are there what all Honolulu has to offer.
The Bishop Museum and Planetarium is one of the main tourist attractions and is also extremely educational. It is the state museum of Hawaii and offers a visual and literal introduction into Hawaiian history and culture. The Science Garden is particularly fascinating. Information on this museum and other attractions should be available at the Honolulu five star hotels .
The Capital District in Honolulu is also intriguing and has much to offer tourists. There are great dining opportunities and China Town is among one of the area’s biggest draws. The modern State Capital building is, predictably, in this neighborhood and so are prominent buildings such as the old mansion that once belonged to and was the home of Queen Lili’uokalani . This is also one of the city’s historic districts and many buildings and landmarks from the island’s past are found there.
